Clément Thoby was born in 1991 and grew up in Nantes.
He studied applied arts in Paris, at the Estienne school and then at the Sainte-Geneviève Institute. He then specialized in animation cinema by joining the EMCA of Angoulême. Passionate about color, he worked for five years as a decorator and artistic director for animation productions. He is now an illustrator, working for the international press, communication agencies, brands...

His work mainly consists of colored pencil landscapes from his travels, whether real or mental.
