Ester Garcia

Ester García was born in Cáceres, Spain (1984). 

As long as she can remember, she always loved children´s books.

After graduating in Fine arts at University of Salamanca, Spain, she moved to Madrid to continue her studies of design. She lives and works in Madrid as an illustrator since 2008.

Her illustrations have been selected and awarded at several international contests:

Mostra Internazionalle d'Illustrazione per l'infanzia de Sàrmede 'Le immagini della fantasia' (Italy),'Dragón Ilustrado' Prize, awarded by El Dragón Lector Bookshop (Spain), selected at IV Iberoamerican Catalogue (Mexico) or the Second Prize of 8º Encontro Internacional de Ilustracao de S. Joao de Madeira (Portugal).
